What Does a Gay Male Therapist Help With?
A gay male therapist on the Freelife Behavioral Health team can you help you navigate general mental health and queer-specific experiences. Using general therapy modalities (such as CBT, DBT, IFS, etc.), we help you navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, and more; but we also cover topics such as coming out, internalized homophobia, identity exploration, family rejection, sex, and more. While most sessions are 45-60 minutes, each session is fully personalized to you and your concerns.
This is your space.
What Are the Benefits of Seeing a Gay Male Therapist?
Working with a gay male therapist can offer a sense of understanding that helps you spend less time explaining your experiences and more time focusing on your growth.
